Best to Worst |
(0000/0/0): My ranking of every movie I have finished in order of how worthy
of your time they are, based on my opinion. We are using the IGN
method of scoring, by restricting everything to a 7. If you are looking
for recommendations then this is the list you want. Go top to bottom
until you find something you haven't seen before. This should be the
default order, unless you pressed a button or if I fucked something up (likely). |

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) |
(2025/10/29): This really doesn't feel like a 60 year old movie. The
visual effects in this film look better than a majority of the films shot
today. The antagonist of this story is among the most mysterious in all of
fiction. The score is iconic to the point of being a meme. If you haven't
seen this movie I would recommend doing no further research and just watching
it. Kubrick films are considered the best for a reason. |

Inland Empire (2006) |
(2025/10/31): David Lynch's masterpiece. The Criterion version of this is
using a terrible AI upscale, go for the older Bluray version if you can. Don't look
up anything more about this film, just go watch it when you have 3 spare hours. |

Hausu (1977) |
(2025/10/30): Wouldn't even classify this as a horror movie, other than
tropes it employs. I think it was trying to be genuine a psychedelic horror, but
through the language barrier and all the lsd I'm can't say that for certain.
But what I can say for certain is that this movie is chaotic, surreal and
a lot of fun. If you aren't afraid of weird shit then it's a must see. |
